Fats Domino

Fats Domino was born Antoine Dominique Domino Jr. February 28, 1928 died October 24, 2017. He was a native of New Orleans. His family was French Creole. He was a songwriter, musician and singer. His instruments was piano and vocals. Fats Domino influenced me as a child growing up. My mother had his records and would play them often. I was impressed with the way he played the piano. He had a rolling style and “tickle the ivories”. He was legendary. People say his genres were Rock and Roll and New Orleans rhythm and blues. When I grew up and joined BMG music club I bought his CD of his greatest hits. I play it often. In 1986 he was the first to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His recognition was long over due.
